Date with Logan

Before I continue catching up with the million things we did in April I had to write a few things about today. Logan and I went out on a lunch date today. He really wanted to go out to the Spaghetti Factory to try spaghetti and meatballs. So I was excited to have time to "talk" with Logan about school, sports, and all of the things he is interested in. Of course that lasted until the waiter came to ask what we would like to drink. Then we started playing tic tac toe, having staring contests, and thumb wars. Then the party really heated up when Logan said, "Hey we can tell knock knock jokes."
Knock Knock
Who's there?
Wood
Wood who?
Would you like to hear another knock knock joke? (Mom I heard that joke on Handy Manny)

Knock Knock
Who's there?
Green
Green who?
Mom you having something green in your teeth. I think it's a piece of lettuce. Right there mom , no on the other side.

He went on and on and on. And we just laughed and had fun. It was a pretty fun date.

Dating has been on my mind the last few days because Tom and I had to go back and read my journal from when we met to resolve a bet. I lost the bet, but we did end up laughing so hard that we couldn't go to bed for hours. I LOVE MY BOYS!

He may have picked up those knock knock jokes from James because James has TONS of them. Sounds like a fun little date!

Tea is totally into knock knock jokes, too! What a lucky little guy to have a date with you. Those date moments are ones I think we'll treasure forever.

I love the updates. Logan cracks me up. Boys always keep things interesting. You wouldn't believe some of the conversations that go on at our dinner table. :)

Emily,

So glad to hear that you are a Saved by the Bell Fan too. I think we may have to have a themed bunco night....

I was bummed not to see you for awhile- come down and visit us!
