Gavin's Mascara Nightmare

The other day I received my Mary Kay order and put my stack of make-up on the stairs to take up later. Gavin somehow figured out how to open up a box of mascara and went to town.

This is my personal favorite after I took it away he was NOT happy. Luckily my carpet is brown and black because his stuff does not come out easily!!!

Valentines Day

We had the best Valentines Day ever this year. Tom bought me flowers and a little gift for the boys. Then he made us a pancake breakfast. Logan's favorite part was this card with a Chimpanzee in a bikini. He has been obsessed with my bras lately so this was just TOOOO funny for him. In raising Logan we have learned there needs to be a sixth language of love... SILLY.

Girl's Weekend

I had a great girls weekend with two wonderful friends. We went to Newport Beach for shopping, movies, eating, and talking. It was Chick Flicks, Nordstrom Rack, and too much food! We stayed at a great hotel with a beautiful spa and we were able to get a massage. We were talking about Isa's birthday at the check in desk and they had this cake waiting for her in the room when we got back. It was more relaxing and fun than I had imagined!!!

Grandma and Grandpa Visit

Grandma and Grandpa O came to visit in January because they were speaking in Orange County at a LDS conference. They did a great job and we loved seeing them. We went to Moonlight Beach and Logan used a boogie board to slide down the hills. They boys were in heaven all weekend enjoying the attention and love. I tried out my new acupuncture skills on my mom all weekend. She is seeing results so that is good news! Love you!

Birthday Date

The view from our table at Jake's in Del Mar. It was a beautiful sunset and amazing food.
I feel so lucky to have Tom in my life. He is such an amazing husband and father. I am so grateful for the way he treats me and loves me. He supports me, makes me laugh, and my newest favorite...does the dishes.:)

After dinner we went on Limo Ghost Tour of San Diego. This is the other couple that was on the same tour with us. It was an open bar and they both were drunk drunk drunk which allowed for some interesting entertainment beyond the Ghost Stories.
This is our tour guide. He had the accent, clothes, proper language, stories, and history to put us right back in time. He took us to The Star of India ship, Hotel Del Coronado, Gaslamp district, and Old Town. The history was actually fascinating and the stories were fun.

Tom's Birthday

We had a great birthday weekend for Tom. Saturday morning we went to breakfast in Cardiff at Pipes Cafe. The boys were in heaven with their huge bacon, eggs, sausage, and pancakes breakfast. Then we played in the rocks on the beach.

We had KC and Monica over for dinner and brownies and ice cream to celebrate.

Binho

I received this email the other day and I can't explain in words all the emotions it produced. It took me back to a hot and sweaty unsuccessful tracting day with Sister Williamson. We stopped in front of the church in frustration and she said, "Why don't we go see if any of those 20 boys playing soccer want a discussion?" She then proceeded to give the best rendition of 1 Nephi 17 I have ever heard and still use to this day. It inspired reactivation, baptism, celestial marriage, missions, and service. It was a reminder of the power of the Book of Mormon, my love of Brasil, and the amazing friends who served in the Sao Paulo Interlagos mission. The email inspired me to plan the trip I have been putting off for 10 years and it looks like Tom and I will try to head to Brasil this summer.
