Julian

We were so excited to hear that Julian received some snow so we headed up to check out the San Diego snow. It just so happened that the rest of San Diego had heard as well and it was quite the traffic jam. Julian has 1 four way stop that everyone has to pass through to get in and out of the town. It got better when we tried to find a place to stop and make a snowball. The property owners stand outside their driveways wagging their fingers at you so you don't touch their snow. So we drove and drove and finally found our patch of snow. :)

The orange groves on the drive out there were beautiful.

Making snowballs for our snowball fight.

Sliding down the hill.

It's cold....I'ts cold...It's cold.

Legoland Fireworks

The week after Christmas Legoland does a fireworks show. We headed over to enjoy the evening with KC, Monica, Avery and baby Taj.

Gavin and I on Storybook Island

Avery and Gavin riding their new favorite ride...the airplanes.

This was the first ride Logan and I went on about 4 years ago when he was Gavin's age. It is still fun to this day!

Entrepreneur

Logan is a bit obsessed with garage sales, kool aid stands, and his latest winter idea.....
Hot Chocolate Stand.

He sat outside for about 4 hours, going door to door, doing whatever it took. He made $13.00 and gave $1.00 to his friend Lauren for knocking on some of the neighbors door with him.

Christmas Day

Opening presents

I saw Logan's face light up many times on Christmas but nothing like the Job Chart. He was so grateful and so happy to get one.:)

Elmo lit up Gavin's face!

Logan got his first set of scriptures. He and Gavin sat down for a read.

Logan and his rescue Lego set put together all by himself.

Christmas Eve

First we opened up our new pj's
Then we read the Happy Prince. Logan said, "That is a long story." I remember thinking the same thing when I was a little girl. The message is so worth it!
Jumped around a little bit and acted out the Nativity Scene which is on the video camera.
Wrapped and set out the rest of the presents. We had the stomach flu a few days earlier so we didn't get to spend it with Lisa and Sam's family or Monica and KC. I was bummed we didn't get to see them before they left. So we made hot chocolate and watched "It's a Wonderful Life."
