Friday Dec 19th Logan's Program

Logan's kindergarten class sang a bunch of Holiday songs including some of my favorites which were "Dradle" and "All I really need is a song in my heart". He did such a great job and it was so fun to watch him. I teared up when I heard the children singing the words to a song.

All I really need is a song in my heart, food in my belly and love in my family. All I really need is a song in my heart, love in my family. And I need some clean water for drinking And I need some clean air for breathing And love in my family.

This is Logan's teacher Mrs Mcgrew. She filled in for Mrs. Bordanaro while she was on maternity leave. I was able to volunteer in his class on Friday afternoons and see what a great school he is able to attend. Thanks to Lisa my sister for watching Gavin. We miss you.

Thursday Dec 18th Bunco

I am so sad I didn't take pictures of Bunco. I hosted Bunco in the month of December at my house and all the prizes were from Anthropologie which has become my favorite new store.
Last year when we lived in La Jolla I was asked to be a sub for Bunco. My friend Amy Kirby started a group up in Rancho Bernardo. Luckily I became a regular the first night. And I have the same commute time from where we live in San Marcos. It has to be the most fun night of the month. It is a group of fabulous moms who are fun, funny, entertaining, and great people. They cook amazing food and we always have great conversations. Thanks ladies for a great year and adopting me into your group.

Wed Dec 17th Tom's Work Party

This is everyone is their formal attire

This is me in my jeans :) I didn't get the memo.
We ate and Tom entertained us by singing some Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra for us. We danced and oh did we dance. There are games, a year in recap video and contests at this baby and it gets serious out there. You always come home a little sore from the Salsa dancing and games.

Tuesday Dec 16th Acupuncture and Party Time

So on Tuesday night we had Grandma Moore come over and see all of my patients. I have spent the last year training in an acupuncture treatment called SRT (Sensitivity Reduction Treatment). After I came home from Brazil 10 years ago I was ill for a couple of years until I met Tom's mom who gave me back my health through NAET and JMT treatments (SRT is a combo of both). I was new to the whole alternative health thing and didn't have much faith but to my surprise it worked and I have enjoyed my health ever since. I was so grateful and it has been my dream to learn how to become certified. So while Dr. Judi was down in Cali she was able to consult with each person.
While she did that I went to a Glammed and Glittericous, Party. It was quite the party. Here is a link to the photo. It was mostly ladies from the ward and I tell ya they know how to party.

Monday Dec 15th Baby Taj and Grandma Moore

Grandma Moore came to visit for baby Taj's birth. Her birthday was Dec 15th so we had Tyler Florences' fish tacos from the food network (I HIGHLY RECOMMEND) , taco soup and yummy cake for desert.
Monica the new mom chillin with Grandma, baby Taj and Gavin.
Going over the the Strang's house to see Grandma and the baby. My boys (Tom, Logan, and Gavin) couldn't get enough of the baby. We were over there everyday to hold him and all 3 are asking when we get to have one of our own.
